LITTER BRAND

I personally recommend using pelleted litter, e.g. Nature's Way Feline
Pine, Pine Fresh, Yesterday's News, etc. or good old inexpensive pelleted
wood stove fuel, e.g. Stove Chow brand. The pelleted wood brands seem to
control odor better than the pelleted paper products in my experience.

I do not recommend using clay litters. They are dusty and they do not
control odor well. The dust can potentially cause respiratory trouble.
Also, some clay litters are heavily perfumed and are undesirable for the
same reason.

I strongly recommend against wood chips as the aromatic oils in them can
potentially case respiratory and/or skin disorders.

I strongly recommend against clumping litters as they can clump on the eyes,
nose, and bottom. They can also clump in the lungs and/or stomach if
accidentally or intentionally inhaled or ingested. The results can be
fatal.

Best wishes,
