Many thanks to those who wrote having been through situations similar to
what we are trying to help Warp cope with, especially to Joanne D'Amico and
Troy Lynn Eckart who had to treat similar suddden and/or severe ulcerations
associated with ECE and secondary infections and who also had come close to
losing some with ECE as we almost have a few times with this nasty ECE
strain over the last three months. Warp's here and her meds are working
wonders. Yesterday she even had fun with a human visitor (Niki, Steve's
summer student) and showed off how well she can play dalek with a wicker
wastebasket, as well as giving a bunch of her tender, tiny kissies.

And, Bill -- thanks so very much for making this forum available for so many
years now. It would have been a shame to lose it when Chris needed to stop,
and if that had happened do you realize how many of our ferrets would have
had shorter and less happy lives because there would not be such marvelous
people whose brains we could pick? BTW, for those of you who don't know:
before Bill took over as moderator he was the person who kept those who had
to post from FFZs safe by providing their route to being anonymous. Quite a
track record.
