OK, then it is not ECE, because the antibiotics are helping Lucy (and
there have been no new ferrets -- unless she is getting better simply
from the hydration. Also, she was on a sulfa drug on and off for about
a month, and the periods on were at least 10 days, w the last one
being at least 2.5 weeks, so I assume any virus would have been
killed -- unless there is reinfection.

You are right, the vet school must be investigated right away. Tomorrow
I shall call Dr Dawit about their capabilities.
