For any of you in the Sparta, NJ, area:
 
This Saturday, Sept 28th, my ferret ambassadors will make an appearance
at the Family Fun Festival, at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church,
246 Woodport Road, Sparta.  This festival provides entertainment and
activities for all ages, including food, crafts, games, a magician, four
talented local musical groups, and of course, my ferrets!  They will
circulate among the crowd to meet and greet the attendees.  The festival
will be held from 10 am to 4 pm.  The ferrets are scheduled from 10 am
to noon, with a possible encore at 2 pm if they're not too stressed or
tired.
 
On the following Saturday, October 5th, Shepherd of the Hills will hold a
Blessing of the Animals in honor of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi.
All species are welcome, and treat bags will be given out after the
blessing (including ferret treats, of course!).  Offerings will be
donated to the Sussex County Friends of Animals (a no-kill cat and dog
shelter, not a ferret shelter, but I know many on this list have more
than ferrets).
