I seem to be have a ferret with the typical signs of adrenal disease.
Not only is he balding, but I can feel the mass in his abdomen. He has
only been losing his hair for about a month, but it's been dramatic. I
will be taking him to the vet this coming week. In the meantime, his
skin is SO itchy...and red...and warm to the touch. He is scratching
sores on parts of his body. Is there anything I can use OTC that can
help relieve this misery? Aloe? Gold Bond?

He rarely gets baths. Every 6 months more or less. They have a decent
diet...not the best, but Purina One Growth and IAMS kitten chow. I was
given some Mazuri with the ferret I bought at a yard sale, so that is
added right now, too. The other three babies are fine...but I really
want to make his itchy body go away...
