Lynn-in response to the vet thing... We live in Norfolk, VA, a bit closer
to you I believe.  A local vet here sees ferrets, quite a few, in fact.  He
treats ones from both of the local shelters, as well as a few breeders in
the area, including us.  They are VERY good with ferrets and may be what
you are looking for.  You can reach them at (757)473-0111.  Pet Care
Veterinary Hospital.  You will want either Dr. Fisher or Dr. Hulls.  Hope
