I do not want to scare you, but if a local reaction site is still present
10 weeks later then it is time to remove it.  It is probably a local
reaction, but it could be the early stage of a sarcoma.  It is best to
remove it now and find out for sure what is causing the problem.
 
Even though I was the one to report a sarcoma, other vets have also seen
this problem.  Fortunately it is still a rare condition.
