From Biology and Diseases of the Ferret (Fox 2nd. Ed.) p.335.

Triple therapy for Helicobacter M. ( the root cause of ulcers)
consists of oral Amoxicillin (30 mg/kg), Metronidazole (20 mg/kg)
and Pepto-Bismol (Bismuth sub-Salicylate) 17.5 mg/kg) 3 times a day
for 3-4 weeks.

More recent new treatment from the same source is 24mg/kg Ranitidine
Bismuth and 25 mg/kg Clarithromycin orally 3 time a day for 2 weeks.
(this worked on my Suki)

There are additional medications which can be used for acid suppression
etc. Bleeding ulcers need emergency treatment.

Tony (not a vet), Sugar and Suki.
In memory of Sally and Sue.
