Hello,
My friend has a two-year-old male ferret that is very sick. This is what
she wrote to me and maybe someone can shed some light on this awful
sickness:

Maybe someone has or had a ferret with this upper body paralysis. We
removed his adrenal gland (just one) and there was a tumor but his blood
came back normal. Can they have a stroke? Any info would be helpful. He
will be starting some type of steroid on Sunday but if that doesn't work i
have no choice but to put him down. If you could just see him you would
tell me to put him down now but I have to try what ever I can first. I
hope you never have to deal with this I feel so helpless.

Any help or informations would be appreciated so much. My friend really
wants her baby to live.

Thanks
Paula [log in to unmask]
