Hi all
 
i have been lurking mostly but i would like to introduce myslef , my name
is Paula and i am the proud owner of two little fuzzbutts LOL .  both are
marshals ferrets and when i picked my first ferret out i was looking for
a mellow one well i found out why cocoa was mellow he had the flu wich
petco gladly paid for all of his medical costs .my husband soon got the
potato chip bug telling me to go get cocoa a buddy .  So i got a little
female man is she small , verry heathy little stinker and named her
squiggles boy dose that name fit her lol .  well later i still knowtist
that cocoa was not thriveing and i found out he had worms and that they
both had ear mites .  At there last vacination session i was still
worried because he had not gained any weight and the vet looked at me
worriedly and told me that i might want to try switching foods that he
may have an alergy to the food i was feeding .  Well i went back to petco
and talked to there animal specialist who also dose ferret rescue and she
told me , You know there are A lot of ferrets that are alergic to corn so
we picked out a corn free food and all i can say is WOW cocoa is now a
heathy wopping 4 lbs of ferret he is a big boy not fat but BIG i have had
to get cat collars for him because the ferret collars are to small .  Me
and my hubby ar both hooked for life and i plan on adding another little
one in a few yrs .  Now if i could only get cocoa to quit stealing the
bathtub plugs LOL and squigles to quit takeing my pens lol , ho well i
know where the hidie holes are lol .
