Hello all. About a couple of months back I wrote to the FML asking
opinions on the suitability of ferrets and kittens, as the breeder from
whom I wished to pu rchase a Bengal kitten would not sell it to me upon
learning that I had ferts! Anyway, I thank all that replied, but her
mind could not be changed. The good n ews is that I found another
breeder that did sell me a kitten (I learned my less on and didn't
mention the ferts this time), and I just realized that I had not let you
all know about him as I sit here at my computer reading the FML and watch
ing the brats and the kitten play! It is just too cute to watch a less
than 2 p ound fuzzy bouncing and war dancing around a kitten 3 times his
size! I swear, the kitten has more to worry about than the ferts because
they can really "tortu re" him until he gets up out of their reach. One
fuzzy likes to bite him on the scruff of the neck and make him yowl. The
cutest thing ,though, is when the fe rts race around in their clear tube
and the cat tries to "catch" them from the outside. This is my first
experienc e owning a cat and he and the fuzzies give us endless supplies
of giggles, smile s and "Awwww"'s. I'm so glad we got our Bengal after
all!

P.S. Please keep your fingers crossed that ferts become legal in CA.
Pray for us and for all our furry and human friends down in FL.
