That sounds hilarious. And as far as a sleeve ferret vs. a lap ferret,
sleeve is far more unique.

New Ferret Owners
I'm sorry, but how could a ferret owner not know that ferrets need to
interact with them? The ferret makes it quite obvious it wants to come
out and play. Do people think a ferret in a cage is like fish in a tank?
Pretty to look at but don't touch? I think Troy Lynn hit the nail on the
head.

My baby boy does the same thing. When he drinks and eats he sounds like
he's choking. At first I thought maybe all babies did this since it's been
5 years since I've had a baby ferret, but I think it's him.( I have three
adult adoptees) My vet didn't seem to be concerned either, but I'm sure
he'd take my $ if I went back to see him about it. When we have to go
again I will pursue it with him, until then I'm just keeping an eye or an
ear on my boy.

The address for Ferrets in Need was on the FML yesterday. I checked it
out. It's pretty up to date.

I live in London and would love to help out on London rescues. If anyone
has information and is currently investigating these breeders, or know
where they're located I would appreciate an email. I also volunteer with
the London Humane Society and feel I could be an 'inside' influence on
them.

Thanks to Michael F. Janke of the South Florida Ferret Club and Rescue,
Inc. first, for the timely answering of all my email, and second for the
use of the All About Ferrets section from their homepage. This will be
passed on to the London Humane Society and I hope to have it displayed on
any ferret cage, and given out to prospective adoptees along with a disc of
the FAQ and Medical Answers from the FML.

Has Penny enjoyed any interesting food lately Mike?

Eveyone should check out the Shelter's web site at

Thankyou and Goodnight.
