Hey Laura. That CL responder is an idiot. Our shelter expenses are
approx $2,500 per month not including our ongoing vet bills which are
currently at $12k. If that person knew anything about ferrets (and
shelters in general) they would know it isn't all about the well-ferret
care that costs us. Oftentimes the ferrets we all get are thrown away
because something is wrong with them which equals expensive.

You are right, they are wrong, have a wonderful week!
