Hi all,

I have a 5 yr old (approx - i got her as an adult) silver named Daisy who's
had two adrenal surguries in the last year. In the beginning she looked
fairly healthy but things have progressed such that she is now furless on
most of her posterior dorsal region around the spine and back legs, and her
tail is completely covered with blackheads and is without fur. Her belly
has only a thin layer of fuzz, about 1-2mm in size. Her head is bald, and
other places as well. And its getting worse. That's not the worst part,
she's lost some weight (how much I don't know), so that she is extremely
skinny now, you can see pretty much her whole skeleton. Otherwise she is
active and normal. She eats but not alot. She doesn't take treats she
used to like such as ferretone and ferretvite. She will have a bit of
peanut butter or a raisin, but that's it. She eats Iams Kitten Chow. She
seems in good health except these two problems, but I feel that they are
progressive and will keep getting worse. She had her last adrenal surgury
about 2-3 mo ago. She lives with two others, a male and female, both
younger, and they do not have any sort of weight loss or fur loss problem.

I know I can 'force'feed her a liquid diet of A/D and kibble and ensure,
or something of that nature, but I really don't want her to switch to that
type of diet, and to be honest I just can't be around to feed her every 2
or 6 hours; I work about 10-12 hrs a day and my job site is far away from
home. Does anyone have any idea about switching foods, adding foods,
etc??? Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Rob
