Nancy, let them have them if they want. Bob Church adds egg shells to
his chicken gravy and serves the stuff up to them in an egg shell dish.
And, the primary basis of Carnivore Care IS eggs. According to some
people you can feed them to them raw, but several vets with whom I have
discussed this suggest that this not be done for older or compromised
ferrets, whose immune systems may fall prey to salmonella. On the other
hand, why not try the scrambled, fried or boiled and even mush it up in
their other food. Don't forget the eggshell - it is nutritious.
