A vet once recommended a small dose of Prednisone prior to vaccinating
with Fervac-D. Has anyone any experience with this? Having had a few
insulinomic ferrets, I have lots of Pred in pill form. It's that time of
year and I'm a little concerned for the new guys. Inola generally gets a
little sleepy from the shot. Stoney always had severe reactions, so we
would pretreat him with a cortisone shot. Thanks,

Carla R. (also not the shelter mom, but working on it!)
