If the person wasn't serious, and I hadn't had such a down day, I would have
laughed at the mail I received from one person in the Sierra Club this
morning.

Dear Ferret people,

I am the chapter chair of a small chapter and I have NOTHING to do with
ferrets or the Sierra Club's position on them. I deal with local issues,
mostly land-use, and do not set Ferret policy, nor could I care less.

I GREATLY resent all you people spamming me about your goddamn ferrets.
Please pass the word and please stop.

I have since written back, replying that as we only have e-mail addresses,
and no other information, we were forced to write to the addresses randomly,
in hopes of finding the right office. I feel that it would do more harm
than good to send more mail to this narrow minded idiot...er person, so
would beseech you all to take note:

Pat Veesart <[log in to unmask]> is probably NOT a good person to write to
about AB 363 at this tenuous time. Perhaps, after ferrets are made legal in
California, though...

To those who have already heard about my baby boy, Guy, and sent mail, I
wish to thank you for your responses. Today has been a trying day, and I'm
grateful that I already had half a day off to help cope with Guys' death.
The mail helps immeasurably.

Sam
