I want to thank the dozens of people who wrote in support regarding
Elizabeth's recent experiments with gravity. After viewing the crime
scene, it is obvious she had the help of angels; she could have easily
died or suffered permanent damage. She is doing much better and has
recovered for the most part, although her bruises are sore and her
head still aches. She should recover completely.

Spending much of the week with my granddaughter Elaina wasn't such a
bad thing. It reminded me of how much I loved raising my own kids. The
one thing I discovered as being something left better in the past was
diapers. Based on the smell, I was sure Elizabeth was weaning Elaina
on rotten roadkill deer. I kept thinking, "Breathe through your mouth,
breathe through your mouth," but I swear I could taste it! I kept
singing that childhood ditty, "Giffy Gaffy Gopher Guts." Elaina just
giggled.

I will print out and send all your thoughtful notes to Elizabeth. I
am sure she would appreciate them as much as I have. Thank you all so
much!
