Hey Alaxandria,

The cost for altering depends on where yu live. I live in NJ and my
vet charges around $85 for a spay and $65 for a neuter. Other vets in
NJ charge $180 and UP for a spay and $150 and UP for neuter. Now I
have heard that vets in other states charge alot more or simmular.

People who are going to take any of these ferrets need to call around
to get prices but they also need to find a vet that is willing to do
it as most have never altered a ferret.

I have the 2007 Ferrets year book which does contain a list of vets
that do see ferrets for each state. If people would like to contact me
and let me know where they live I can send them a list of vets in their
state from this yearbook. (I have been doing this for a few years now.)
As for prices, I don t honestly know, they would have to call
themselves to find out. The other think people can do is contact
their local ferret rescue and ask what vet the rescue uses and get
the information from them.

Debi
