Trina has callouses on the the pads of her back feet. What would have
caused them? I've had her and her sister, Tessa, for about a month and
a half. Before then, they were at FURRY for almost 2 months. We don't
know what kind of living conditions they had before then, if it was rough
on her feet or not. Tessas' hind feet are a little calloused, but Trinas'
are pretty bad. Her little toe on her right foot curls sideways instead
of straight down when you touch the pads of her foot. Is there anything
I can do to soften the callouses? It doesn't seem to bother her, but I
don't want it to get any worse. I have carpet in the cage, so they never
walk on bare wire.
