As the end of the school year comes to a close and the summer approaches
please remember that this is one of the busiest times of the year for
ferret shelters.
 
During the summer people start taking vacations and moving.  Some end up
having to leave their ferrets behind, either to board or to surrender.
This sudden increase is very draining on the shelters both emotionally,
physically and financially.
 
Donating to either the shelter directly, their veterinarian or to S.O.S.
during this time is a great help to the shelters all over the world.
 
You can donate bedding, food, time, gift certificates or money.  Every
little bit helps, whether it is $5.00 or $50.00... it all adds up.
 
Participating in raffles and auctions that benefit shelters is another
great way to help support shelters and possibly getting some goodies at
the same time.  There are several raffles running right now.  Here are
