This point needs to be made.  This guy knew he wasn't in danger of
contracting rabies!  He is a ferret owner, right?  What is obvious is that
he saw a chance for publicity and lots of attention.  That's it.  We should
all consider that before we waste our time calling him.  Because then we're
giving him exactly what he wants.  And I hope the ferret shelters in the
area always remember his name and never let him near a ferret again!  It's
too bad retail stores can't do the same.  Owning animals is not a God-given
right, it is a privilege - and he has lost his!
