Not what you are thinking.

The other evening, Monday to be correct. The day from *****....
Ms. Thang is running around without a care in the world while I piece
together all the events of the day. I noticed through out her play time
I could reach down and pick her up with out being bitten. I thought this
day is not going to end on a bad note after all. After redoing my notes
on the computer, Ms. Thang comes around and naturally I raise my legs and
make her go downstairs by tossing an empty box followed by a toy.
Naturally, she runs behind and I close the office door. Feeling guility,
I go downstairs to sit on the couch. I managed to reach down to pick up
this little girl and talk to her. As I am talking to her, I put this
furry creature up by my shoulder to stroke her. I am thinking we are
making progress with this biting thing I began to smile. As I turn
towards Ms. Thang in an approval manner.

OOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHH.

The little MONSTER latched on to my bottom lip. When she finally let
go.... I was able to look down. Blood is coming in a pace I hadn't
seen in a while. No, I didn't toss her across the room. Going into
semi-shock about the current incident. A nice long scruffing was at
hand. I ran to the bathroom with ferret in hand. I realize that's one
of my new t-shirts. No blood can drop there. Ferret still scruffed and
yawning. I take off t-shirt. At this moment, I think stitch or no
stitch. Wondering if my bottom lip will swell by morning. I decided to
put Ms. Thang back in her cage because I was indecisive about what to do
with her at that moment. I say to myself. I know better.

Next day. I have to go and pick up Moxie from the vet. Now ever so
conscious about my bottom lip that is sore. When the vet assistant
looks at me I just say Verzion incident and everyone laughs. As the day
progress I am in class and we have to break up into groups. A young man
is kneeling at my desk as he continues to look up in conversation. I say
okay stop looking at my lip.... Verizon incident...... Laughter begins
again. I am glad my pain everyone else's laughter for the day.

I have let her out since then. She always gets let out during the day.
But, it will be a long day when that happens again. That is a sensation
I do not wish to ever experience again.

Take care all, Just something to share.
Benita
