Two things I noticed in issue 1289. Wine cork and TP roll. Both of
these items have caused deaths in ferrets - wine cork pieces can cause
obstructions and TP roll killed a ferret that got it's head stuck (I
don't know if the ferret suffocated or broke something from twisting
and turning trying to get it off). Please be careful with what your
ferrets play with. I realize only too well that these little ones
often find "toys" that are not good for them to play with.

Stormy - Teddy Bear is my 8 yr old that has insulinoma and all she
ever eats or drinks is Restore Plus (unfortunately KMart in our area
switched to a different brand and she won't eat it so she is grudgingly
eating Ensure Plus) mixed with Gerber Oatmeal baby food. When I open
the Ensure Plus I divide it into 2oz containers and refrigerate it. Try
as I may, she sometimes will only eat 2oz a day. I feed her at least
twice a day (which would be 4 oz), and as many more times as she will
eat. I warm the Ensure Plus in the microwave to take the chill off then
mix in the baby cereal and sometimes 1-2 cc's of sweetened condensed milk
(when she really doesn't want to eat this helps). This is the ONLY mixture
she will eat or drink and believe me I've tried many combinations. I've
started her on the C. silver to see if it will help. Can't hurt.

Hugs to all. tle
