In our house, it's flailing around on the bed and then landing with a
surprising thud on the floor!

What IS that panting thing?? Two of my ferrets (Kiwi and Theo) make some
weird sound that I've been trying to name. They make this looooong breath
sucking sound that sounds hollow. I can't even make a fair imitation of it
(and as I sit here trying, my cats are looking at me like my cheese has
finally slipped!). I call it the "Slestack" (from the *original* "Land of
the Lost" for those in my generation who remember it!). They only do it
while running around and having a good time. It's obviously a happy sound!

And, while I am thinking of it.... I think there are lots of new FML
members. In case those new people are looking for other ferret owners in
their area, don't forget to check out the Where List webpage where FML
people are listed by location and have clickable links that will allow you
to e-mail them directly. It's a great way to meet people in your area!
And, of course, don't forget to ask to be added, too!
