This is just my opinion but I feel that you shelters and anyone else should
always charge for a ferret.  If you pay nothing its worth nothing is the
mind set of alot of americans unfortunately.  Lets not devalue ferrets in
general by giving them away.  Also there are those people that collect free
animals to sell for medical research.  So if you dont want that to happen
charge something.
