Morning Mary,

I went to BOTH the pages you listed the links for. Yes, the AFA bouard
does list normal protical for doing vaccinations, Canine Distemper &
Rabies, such as recomended shots and how often. I even did a search
by typing in the board's browser for "Vaccination Requirements for
entering an AFA Show & Hall", the only thing that came up was the
requirement for ADV testing and what you needed as proof of this to
enter an AFA show and it even lists a copy of the ADV waiver paper.

What I was suggesting is that AFA posts on it's board something to the
effect "To enter an AFA show all attendies whether showing or not who
bring ferrets with them to one of our shows MUST show proof of upto
date canine distemper vaccination with either XXXXX or XXXXX and proof
of upto date rabies vaccination (only XXXX is accepted) with you the
day of the show."

Since AFA doesn't post their show packet on line as you have to contact
someone to get it, this would make it much simpler for Joe-Q-Public to
know exactly what is need to come and enter the show hall one of AFA's
shows just to shop with their ferrets. People who have already been o
one of AFA's would already know what is required, but people who have
never been to an AFA show would not know this information.

While the site does explain about vaccination protical for ferrets it
does NOT hoewer explain what vaccination records are required just to
enter an AFA show hall with a person's ferret(s). While some of the
AFA Sanctioned shows DO post on line this information, the main AFA
website board does not. This is why I made the suggestion.

Respectfully,
Debi
