I just wanted to thank all the wonderful people for sending me emails and
so thoughtful cards with regards to Spunky's passing.  I am trying hard
not to cry at work but every card brings more tears.  I always hoped that
my ferrets would die peacefully in their sleep and although I know that
this would probably not have happened I did not expect any to die because
of us.  Nothing in my 40-year-old life has ever hurt me so much and I
feel that I will never be as happy as I was before.  But it is easier to
know that there are other people that went through the same pain and
somehow got through it.  I will try my best to be brave.
