Connie, when I brought Jasper home 3 weeks ago, I knew he had alot of
problems, and I did keep him away from the other ferrets.  They, however,
did get sick, it's a small apartment, and to date, it has been several
vet visits and a couple of hundred dollars to get everyone well again.
 
Be careful, but also be prepared, and keep a close eye on the ferret
you already have.
