        Amoxicillin given at 10-20 mg/kg won't kill off the natural flora in the
intestine.  Yesterday I saw a case of a ferret that had the green diarrhea but
died of a secondary bacterial infection, which spread to numerous organs.  Looks
like the infection in the heart was the ultimate cause of death.
 
        If you bought from an infected breeder, chances are you have the GD.  I
would start the antibiotics and watch Fezzik and Shadows hydration status bvery
closely.
