Ooops... these posts about food additives have begun to mutate :-)  We're
now discussing things like the validity of research.  A good topic, I guess,
but it's getting pretty far away from the topic of ferrets.
 
Of course, there's little harm in making a comment about your beliefs
regarding additives or research methods in a post that's otherwise related
to ferrets, but this just isn't the forum to discuss these things all on
their own.  Similarly, please let's not start debating PETA and such here
either.  Again, it not that the topics aren't important, but this just
isn't the forum for it -- people spend their valuable time reading the list
to get information about ferrets.
 
One other note: I received the latest shelter list from Judith White and
will send it all by itself sometime this week.
