Hello all! I know this question has been asked more times than can be
counted, but here it is again....

I have a female MF ferret that is about to turn 1 year and 3 months old.
She is very petite and is a light silver panda mitt. A few days ago I
noticed that she has lost quite a bit of the hair on her tail. At a
distance it isn't noticeable, but up close it is quite obvious. She is not
showing any other signs of illness of any kind and as far as I can tell is
not under any kind of stress. She is due for her booster shots and first
yearly checkup on Aug 1 and I plan on getting her checked for Adrenal.
Here's my question...is it possible for a ferret so young to get adrenal?
Or could there be other causes for her hair loss besides stress?

Feel free to email me personally with any suggestions. I truly appreciate
everyone's help!!
