I would not recommend aspirin for ferrets.  Liquid benadryl is a
good option.  If the nasal congestion is that bad then it would be
a good thing to have your vet check him.  He may need an antibiotic,
(+/-pediapred for a few days), and afrin topically into his nose for a
few days.  If the infection has gone from an upper respiratory infection
(ie nose and trachea) to a lower respiratory infection (ie lungs) then
more aggressive treatment may be needed.  You can also use a/d food or
Gerber's baby food to help increase his appetite and water intake.
