i am currently living in boston, mass.   my neutered male ferret has
developed impacted anal scent glands.  these have been taken care of with
warm compress and antibiotics so far, but i am thinking that for bartok's
health they should be removed.  i have already contacted a number of places
for surgery.  angel mem. hosp. is charging about $400.00, and most other
places are close.  i am willing to travel for a better price somewhere.
 
please, if anyone knows of a vet. that has reasonable prices (i am a poor
grad. student)...
