Elisa Beth Stamm:  I do believe that ferrets miss their owners; however,
how much probably depends on the attention they get.  When I left Sarah
with some one who worked all day for a week, she lost weight and her hair
got scraggily, but when I left her with some one who was home all day and
had a couple ferrets of her own, Sarah was fine.  As long as your mom is
willing to give them lots of love, I'm sure that they'll be fine.
