Hi there, Renessa! I use a Calendula gel available at most health food
stores. It helps soothe the itchy skin and it dries quickly so they
can't lick it off themselves. Even with clipped nails, adrenal ferrets
sometimes scratch their bald/balding, dry skin. The Calendula helps
heal the scratches and bumps.

I highly recommend it.

Also, try adding a bit more oil to the diet. Olive and flaxseed oils
are usually lapped up readily from a spoon. It definitely helps with
the dry skin.
