There was a post yesterday about ferrets playing with dried beans.  While
it was probably a rare event, I thought I should mention that our vet told
me that he recently had to surgically remove a dried bean from a ferret's
intestine.  The ferret had swallowed a dried bean and it caused a serious
intestinal blockage.
