love--little paws on you leg asking to be picked up
 
adoration--falling asleep with their chin on your foot
 
Happiness--digging in a new, clean litter box
bliss--crawling up your shirt sleeve while you are asleep and snuggling
on your chest
 
curiosity--going to the bathroom and having all the business follow you
to watch your business
 
How do you know they are happy?  By watching them play, sleep, and love.
