To FMLers in the Greater Rochester, NY Area:
 
If anyone out there lives in the Rochester, NY area and is thinking about
having a young ferret descented, PLEASE contact me first - there is a vet
here in the City who is well-known for seeing ferrets but doesn't know how
to descent at all!  I can quickly think of 9 ferrets who were incompletely
descented by this vet and now I just heard of another botched job yesterday.
 
I've had personal experience with this myself, so I know what I'm talking
about - please save your ferret from a bad job and a second surgery and get
in touch with me first.
