It talks about Petco partnering with local shelters.  Because of their
partnering with a House Rabbit Society group, rabbits are no longer
offered for sale in some Petco's in Michigan.  The article is from 2005
so I don't know if anything has changed, but it might be one way to get
more people educated and more shelter ferrets adopted.
