Dear Mr. Lewis,
 
I saw the announcement on rec.pets, and yes, I'd like very much to
subscribe to the ferret mailing list (I'm in the process of downloading
the back issues).  Since they are supposed to be illegal in
Massachusetts, I'm going to request to remain anonymous for the time
being (using my initials is OK).  Hopefully this situation will change
at the end of April (there's a bill before the legislature now).  No one
seems to be enforcing the law, but it would be sad for Nancy if someone
decided to.
