I received an ebay order from Ferret Wise shelter.  In the order was a
copy of their newsletter.  There was a small article about a vet who had
to put a dog to sleep for a family.  Afterward, they were discussing why
animals don't live as long as humans.  The child said, "Everybody is born
so that they can learn how to live a good life - like loving everybody
and being nice, right?  Well, animals already know how to do that, so
they don't have to stay as long."
