        To Chris Bern -

You don't have to have discrete hair loss in patches to diagnose adrenal
disease. I have seen many animals who just had a thinning of the haircoat as a
result of adrenal disease.

If this is dietary, what have you been feeding your ferret?

I don't know if a switch to C/D is in order if the urine has high levels
of crystals on one specific test. You may get crystalluria as a result of any
number of condition, including diet, but if there is no associated disease, I
usually wouldn't recommend being put on a special diet to decrease the
possibility of stone formation.
