My eight year old female (Omi) gets melatonin and lupron semi annually
as well as dandelion, milk thistle and predisone daily. She definitely
perks up quite a bit about a week after the implants. Of course she
doesn't play like she used too, but she definitely is a lot more social
and active during the several months after receiving the implants. I
am not sure of the dosages but the folks at my vet might be willing to
help if you drop them a line at west end animal hospital
