For anyone that hasn't seen it yet, the newest issue of Ferrets Magazine
(March/April) is an excellent one. Among other things, there is a very
good article on ADV that I would highly recommend everyone read.

But there is something else in this issue that many might overlook.
Ferrets Magazine is having a newsletter contest!

The contest is open to any organization, association or club that
produces a newsletter devoted to ferrets. The newsletter must be
published at least quarterly, and entering the contest is easy. For full
information, see the first page of the magazine, under the 'Editor's
Note'. However, here is a summary of what you need to do to enter:

1) Newsletters must be produced by a club or organization involved with
   ferrets.

2) Newsletter must be published at least quarterly. Submission must
   include

   a) 3 separate editions of the newsletter dating between June, 2002
      and June, 2003 and
   b) a mission statement defining the purpose of the newsletter.

3) Submission must be postmarked by Aug. 1, 2003.

4) Include name, address, phone number and email address of the person
   making the submission.

5) Submissions become the property of Fancy Publication and will not be
   returned.

6) Fancy Publications is not responsible for misdirected mail.

7) Fancy Publications accepts that the statements made are made in good
faith and can not be held responsible for possible false claims.

Mail the submissions to:

     Ferrets
     Newsletter Recognition
     PO Box 6050
     Mission Viejo, CA 92690

A panel of judges will judge the newsletters on content, layout and
success in meeting the mission statement. Good luck! The winner will
be announced in March 2004, and will receive an award of $250.00.
