    Cindy - diabetic ferrets are rarely diagnosed early enough for
treatment to be efficacious - but it looks like you may be in luck.
According to Dr.  Susan Brown (personal communication), your vet can use
the same insulin protocol that he/she uses on feline diabetic patients.
