Strange (it seems) just had an intestinal bug of some sort, as he just
woke up suddenly after 2 days of lethargy/no food/little water,
had a bowel movement, and started behaving like his
normal bouncy self, eating, drinking, and stealing my socks.

I'd been giving him antibiotics for about 48 hours. He'll stay on
antibiotics for a few more days, but I think he's well on
the road to recovery!

Hurray!

The moral of the story "If the ferret's sick, take him to the vet."
