You can't imagine my squeals as I read this.  A veil has been lifted!!
You see, I too have a Lucy.  more properly known as Lucy Fur, and she
is the most devilish ferret I have had the joy and pleasure of raising,
although this has also been mingled with much exasperation at the naughty
things she has done ;)  I now understand that she is simple doing what a
Lucy does!!
