This is my first message so many of you don't know me. Three months ago
one of my fuzzies left us for Rainbow Bridge. I was heartbroken and also
in fear of losing my other one. They were both poisoned by an ex roomate
of mine. Legend was too weak after a month and a half of struggling and
eventually had to leave us. Thankfully Felix survived. I missed Legend
terribly and wasn't even considering having another ferret for awhile.
Unfortunatly Felix became so lonely and depressed ( they were from the same
litter of kits and had never been separated ). I was thinking of going to
a shelter to get my next one.

Well to get on with the story, I was picking up some food from the pet store
and one kit in particular caught my eye. He was so big compared to the
rest and much more sociable. Needless to say I decieded to bring him home,
hoping that Felix was going to love him as much as I had. It worked!
Felix has since come out of depression and even shares his " stash " of his
favorite toys with our new little one. They get along so great together!

I thought of calling our new addition Angel but instead decieded on Chubs
( since he is so chubby ). He is 9 weeks old and came from Marshall Farms.
He is a silver-mitt. He already weighs in at about 1 - 1 1/2 pounds. I
just thought that I'd share our good news.
