I posted yesterday about my 1 1/2 year old albino, Marshall. He is still at
the vet and she just got his blood work back and other tests. He has
lymphoma. I am just shocked because he is so young and it just happened so
fast.

I have been reading a lot of info on this cancer and it doesn't look good.
Can he live a long happy pain free life? I read that with even chemotherapy
they would only live an additional 6 months. It is especially bad for
younger ferrets. Last night when I let the other 5 out to play, one of my
boys seemed to be looking for Marshall. Marshall is his play buddy. It was
so sad. Does anyone know where I can get some good info on this cancer? It
seems to me that it is common, yet people don't know much about it. I am
still in shock though. I am going to visit him this afternoon and talk to
my vet to see what to do. It is just so sad because when you buy these
little critters you fall in love with them so fast and them something like
this happens. I just hope he makes it.
